Communications Manager - Paid Internship

Join our women-led team and support us in implementing our communications strategy, translating strong messages for social media to expand our digital presence with our stakeholders. 
 
Your responsibilities in detail:  

  • Development and implementation of a social media strategy, communication plans and C-level positioning  

  • Development and implementation of an effective community management to expand reach and engage with stakeholders on digital channels  

  • Analysis and evaluation of social media channels and implementation of tailored social media campaigns to create targeted content and continuously improve an informed social media strategy  

  • Strategizing, drafting, creating, finalizing and cross-checking text, picture and video content for social media communication as well as aligning them with the management  

  • Advising internal stakeholders on social media communication activities as well as creating and updating guidelines and briefing materials  

  • Actively manage social media channels daily and monitor for issues as well as create and circulate monthly reporting  

  • Work on activities – blogs, newsletters, reports etc. - as per plan requirement 

  • Weekly updates to EHS team  

  • Update the work plan and timesheet daily/weekly as required 

What you have to offer:  

  • University degree with professional experience in social media communication, ideally working within the social impact industry 

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) Familiarity with common social media monitoring and management tools  

  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail; storytelling expertise and the skills to translate complex topics and concepts into engaging messages with the ability to shape and deliver key messages to various audiences, tailored to their individual needs  

  • Excellent communication skills as well as fluent English and German skills (both spoken and written);  

  • A creative mind with knowledge of social media tools  

  • Ability to handle multiple projects passionately, take initiative independently and working in a team  

  • Analytics for social media to improve engagement and build the EHS brand
